Is there really such a thing as Blind Faith?

I suppose the real question is faith or blind faith? Faith is a belief. It is a conviction that is so strong that, at times, it may go against logical reason and transcend through various aspects of life.
These convictions serve a need in humanity. Religious and spiritual convictions provide comfort and healing for the spirit when it faces difficult circumstances. People develop specific beliefs, such as a higher power, life after life, endless love and so many more, and though the nuances differ for each individual, the belief itself is very clear.

So I question if faith could ever be blind. The beginning, the need for the belief is clear. The outcome of the belief is that it served as a support system, encouragement and hope through a passage in one's life.

I encourage you to reflect on what faiths/beliefs you have and brush them up. Give them a makeover so that they truly represent the person you are now. By doing so you get to know yourself better and you give yourself a spiritual boost.
